Transcripts and the Common Application
Official transcripts contain the information needed for the Common Application, Coalition for College, the Scoir Network, or any other student transfer report.
As of March 2025, UC Santa Cruz no longer prepares student transfer reports, as the official transcript contains the necessary information. A Transfer Letter (PDF) confirms this policy. Students may send this letter to their chosen institution(s).
If a receiving institution requires the transfer letter to be sent directly from UCSC, students should order an official transcript and include the Transfer Letter as an attachment. The Registrar’s office does not send transfer letters to institutions on students’ behalf.
If your application requires verification or disclosure of prior misconduct findings (Academic or other) contact the Office of Student Conduct and Conflict Education(conduct@ucsc.edu) and the Academic Integrity Office (integrity@ucsc.edu) for information on receiving conduct verifications.
