Virtru: Sending Secure Documents to the Office of the Registrar

The Office of the Registrar can accept documents securely with Virtru, a safe and secure data encryption service supported by UC Santa Cruz. 

To share documents through Virtru, send a simple, initial email without attachments or reference to sensitive information to the appropriate email address at the Office of the Registrar. Do not send personally identifiable information (PII), such as Social Security Number, Date of Birth, Driver’s Licence, medical information, etc.

We will reply with a secured and encrypted email with Virtu enabled. You will be prompted to confirm your email address and can then follow the steps to send the email including attaching any documents. Virtru will encrypt both the email and the documents.
