Q: How can I access and print class rosters? How do I copy class rosters into Excel? [show]

Q: How do I print from MyUCSC? [show]

A: Please see the document Printing from MyUCSC or AIS.

Q: How can I see who has enrolled in the discussion sections for my class? [show]

A: Click the View Sections link next to the class in the Faculty Center. If you do not see the class in the Faculty Center, contact the course-sponsoring agency to make sure your name is attached to the class.

Q: How can I access a class roster if the class does not show up under "My Class Rosters?" [show]

A: Please see the document Accessing All Class Rosters pdf.

Q: Nothing is happening when I click the icon to download to Excel. What do I need to do? [show]

A: First turn off your browser's pop-up blockers; instructions can be found here. If you continue to have problems, follow the instructions in Browser Settings to Download to Excel.

Q: How can I email my students from within MyUCSC? [show]

A: The Notify function on the class roster and grade roster allows you to email some or all of the students on the roster from within MyUCSC. Instructions on using the Notify function are included in the document How to Use My Class Roster.

Q: How do I view student photos on my class roster? [show]

A: Instructions for viewing student ID photos on your class roster are in the document How to Use My Class Roster. The student ID photo on the class roster is defined by UC Santa Cruz as confidential. This photo is intended to assist instructors and authorized staff in identifying students and is to be used for no further purpose.
